Ingredients
- Hotdog buns try to get the ones that are as long as your wieners/bacon
- Unsalted butter/margarine
- All beef wieners
- Bacon I used chicken bacon/strips, optional
- Cheese slices 2 per hot dog
- Onion sliced thinly or diced
- Relish this is a must supposedly
- Mustard optional supposedly
- Ketchup optional supposedly
Instructions
- Slice onion into thing rings
- Butter the buns
- Halve the wieners, but not cutting through
- Melt butter on pan, caramelize the onion slices
- On other pan, melt butter and brown the hotdogs and the buns
- Lay cheddar cheese slices on the browned buns
- Lay a hotdog, top it with caramelized onions, and add relish, mustard, ketchup
