Ingredients

  • 2 c rice rinsed
  • 1 can coconut milk
  • 1 lemongrass
  • 2 kafir lime leaves
  • 2 Salam leaves Indonesian bay leaf, if not available, use 1/2-1 leaf as bay leaf has stronger and a tad different flavor
  • Salt to taste

Perkedel

  • 1 bag baby potatoes halved
  • Vegetable oil for frying
  • 1 small onion
  • Garlic powder nutmeg powder, ground white pepper, Vegeta powder, to taste
  • 1-2, egg white

Instructions

  • Stir
  • Click rice button on your instant pot

Perkedel

  • Fry potatoes
  • Grind into paste the onion, then mash the fried potatoes into onion paste
  • Season with garlic, nutmeg etc
  • Shape into balls, flatten a little, roll into egg white
  • Fry medium heat for 3-5 mins
