Tumis Bayam

spinach tofu stir fry

Ingredients

  • 1 block firm tofu
  • 1 bag matchstix carrots
  • 1 small purple onion
  • 4 garlic
  • 2 tbsp sunflower oil
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 bag bean sprouts
  • 2 handful of spinach
  • Mushroom granules and vegetable rice such as Vegeta powder, or Royco if you’re in Indonesia, to taste
  • Sesame oil to taste
  • A pinch white pepper powder

Instructions

  • Cube tofu and place them on a nonstick pan, along with carrots
  • Slice onion and garli, also place them along with tofu and carrots
  • Add oil and saute for 5 mins
  • Crack eggs onto the pan and scramble
  • Stir in rinsed spinach leaves and rinsed beansprouts to combine
  • Season with vegetable rice, white pepper ground and mushrooms granules
  • Serve immediately with warm rice
