Sour Cherry Clafoutis

Ingredients

  • 1/2 kg sour cherries remove the pits
  • 4 egg
  • 3/4 c sugar
  • 1/2 tbsp vanilla essence
  • 1/3 c + 2 tbsp strong baker’s flour
  • 3/4 c heavy cream 33%
  • 3/4 c milk I prefer whole
  • Icing sugar for serving

Instructions

  • Grease a round mold with unsalted butter, set to side.
  • Preheat oven to 350 F
  • Whisk eggs, sugar, and vanilla until combined well, then add in flour. Stir to mix.
  • Pour in milk and whole cream, mix, then stir in pitted cherries.
  • Pour mixture into prepared mold and bake for 35-45 mins
  • Can be served almost right away, room temperature, or chilled, it’s up to you 😊
  • Sprinkle with icing sugar and enjoy
