Shredded Beef Quesadillas with BBQ Sauce

Ingredients

  • 6 lbs beef
  • 2 tsp onion powder
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 3 tbsp dark brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp mustard powder
  • 1 tsp dijon mustard
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp Smokey seasoning from Cattle Boyz
  • 1/4 tsp ground black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne powder
  • 3 tsp sweet paprika powder
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 2 1/4 c chicken broth
  • Tortilla corn or white, up to you
  • BBQ sauce
  • Grated cheese

Instructions

  • In a bowl, mix all seasonings to combine well, plus sugar, followed with butter
  • Pour in a little broth, stir
  • Coat meat with some of the spice mixture, then brown the meat on stove top
  • Pour some of the broth into crockpot with a couple tbsp of the spice mixture, stir to combine
  • Place meat into crockpot, flip to moistened the meat, then pour the rest of the broth and the rest of the spice mixture
  • Slow cook for 6-8 H
  • Shred the beef and ready to use :)
  • Lay a tortilla on quesadilla maker, place some filling, top with BBQ sauce and grated cheese
  • Top with another tortilla, brush with butter or spray with oil
  • Cut with pizza cutter, serve immediately
