Chocolate Spritz Cookies

Ingredients

  • 100 g unsalted butter
  • 100 g vegetable shortening
  • 200 g berry sugar superfine/castor
  • 2 yolks
  • 50 g dark chocolate bar grate
  • 250 g AP flour
  • 1 tsp Nescafe instant granule
  • 3 tbsp cocoa powder Dutch cocoa powder is great as well
  • Candy topping

Instructions

  • Mix flour, coffee, and cocoa powder in a bowl, set to side
  • Cream butter, shortening, and sugar, until pale and well combined
  • Beat in yolks, then fold in grated chocolate
  • Mix in flour mixture
  • Pipe dough onto greased pan, decorate with candy topping, and bake on preheated 300 F for 15 mins
  • Cool on rack completely before storing
