Ingredients

Yeast

  • 2 tbsp skim milk powder
  • Enough lukewarm water to make 500 ml liquid, mixed with the milk powder
  • 1/2 c sugar
  • 2 1/4 tsp active dry yeast

1st mixture

  • 1/2 c melted margarine
  • 2 c AP flour
  • 1 c bread flour

2nd mixture

  • 1 c bread flour mixed with 1/2 tsp each salt BP, BSoda

Filling

  • 1 tin Pandan condensed milk if cant find, use regular sweetened condensed milk
  • Unsweetened desiccated coconut

Instructions

  • Mix skim milk powder and lukewarm water, to make 500 ml milk liquid. Stir in sugar and yeast, let stand to bloom
  • Add in margarine, flour, and bread flour (1st mixture)
  • Let rest for 1 H
  • Add in more bread flour mixture (2nd mixture)
  • Knead 1 minute, roll into rectangle
  • Spread pandan condensed milk
  • Sprinkle unsweetened desiccated coconut
  • Roll, slice, let rest 20 mins (will doubled in size again) and bake on preheated 375 F convection oven for 10 mins
