Potato Schotel

Ingredients

  • 1 - 1 1/2 teaspoon of ground white pepper
  • 1 teaspoon of salt and garlic powder
  • 300 ml milk
  • 10 tablespoons of cream cheese
  • 200 gram French/green beans cut/slice as desire. wash clean
  • 6 medium potato peel the skin, wash, make slices or cubes
  • 1 teaspoon of cajun ingredients
  • salt to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon of ground coriander
  • margarine to spread on the baking dish
  • 1 tin of corned beef
  • 20 chicken pok-pok or more if desire
  • 4 eggs beat well
  • 200 gram grated cheese parmesan and such

Instructions

  • Bring water to boil, simmer until half cooked potato and the green beans, drain, set on the baking dish that already has margarine as layer on it.
  • Meanwhile, mix the beaten eggs, milk, coriander, pepper, salt, garlic and salt powder, cajun, and corned beef.
  • Pour half of the the mix ontop of the potato and green beans.
  • Place chicken pok-pok all over the dish then pour the mix of milk and everything else once again
  • Spread the grated cheese all over the top
  • Bake for half hour in 400 F then turn down the heat to 350 F for another half hour or until golden brown.
  • Serve hot
