Perkedel Kentang

Beef Potato Nuggets

Ingredients

  • 500 g ground beef
  • Chicken bouillon powder to taste
  • Ground coriander a generous pinch
  • Cumin powder a generous pinch
  • 3-4 large potatoes @265-270 g each
  • 1/2 small onion
  • 4-5 garlic
  • 2 tbsp water
  • 2 tsp chicken bouillon powder
  • A generous pinch of white pepper powder
  • 2 yolks
  • Freshly grated nutmeg 1/2-1 nutmeg
  • 2 beaten egg whites
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  • Brown beef, season with chicken bouillon powder, coriander, cumin, set aside, covered.
  • In a food processor, mix onion, garlic and water into a fine paste, pour mixture into a large bowl, set aside.
  • Cube peeled potatoes, fry til golden brown.
  • Add in fried potatoes into the large bowl, mash.
  • Add in cooked beef, mix well.
  • Shape into patties/nuggets/ovals/rounds, dip into egg whites, and fry on medium-high heat for 5-8 mins.
