Oseng-Oseng Pare

Ingredients

  • 4 bitter gourd seeded, thinly sliced
  • 2-3 tbsp salt
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 of a medium onion thinly sliced
  • 2 garlic thinly sliced
  • 2 bird eye chilies thinly sliced
  • Maggi liquid seasoning to taste
  • 1 1/2 c soy curls soften in hot water for 5 mins, drain

Instructions

  • Using hands, squeeze gourd that is already sprinkled with salt. Let stand for a couple of hours, rinse
  • Heat oil saute onion garlic and chilies
  • Stir in bitter gourd, cook covered for 5 mins
  • Stir in soy curls and season
  • Cook for another 5-10 mins
  • Serve with warm rice
