Nasi Daging Masak Rice Cooker

Ingredients

  • 200 g lean ground beef
  • 200 g ground chicken
  • 5 garlic
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 2 c rice
  • 1 lemongrass
  • 2 kafir lime leaves
  • 1 garlic
  • 1/2 c frozen mixed veggies
  • 1 tbsp chicken bouillon powder
  • 1-2 tsp sesame oil
  • Enough water

Instructions

  • Slice 5 garlic thinly, set aside
  • Melt butter, brown ground beef and ground chicken, then stir in sliced garlic, season a little with chicken bouillon powder
  • Meanwhile, rinse clean rice in rice cooker pot, add in kafir lime leaves, 1 garlic that is either bruised, chopped, diced, or sliced, with 1 tbsp chicken bouillon powder
  • Once meat are cooked through, dump the whole into rice cooker pot, and add in frozen veggies
  • Pour water, enough to cover everything
  • Stir in chicken bouillon powder and sesame oil to taste, then cook rice according to your rice cooker options.
  • Once cooked, fluff the rice, serve and enjoy 😉
