Multigrain Chocolate (Peanut Butter) Rolls

Ingredients

  • 1 kg multigrain flour for bread can use regular white AP, pastry whichever. Am just using up my blend multigrain flour for bread
  • 21 g active dry yeast
  • 625 ml lukewarm water or plant based milk
  • 3 tbsp coconut palm sugar
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp salt

Instructions

  • Using electric mixer, blend into dough
  • Let stand covered with plastic wrap for half hour until doubled in size
  • Roll flat
  • Melt 3-4 tbsp vegan margarine/butter and brush generously on dough
  • Sprinkle with cocoa powder and coconut palm sugar plus tons of vegan chocolate chips (or semisweet, check ingredients)
  • Roll and slice
  • Place rolls on baking sheet and let rise for another half hour
  • Bake for 20 mins on preheated 350

Notes

With PB2
I had like 2 tbsp melted vegan margarine left, I then mixed in 3 tbsp icing sugar with 2 tbsp PB2 and 1 tsp almond milk
Once rolls are baked, take out and brush with mixture immediately
Cool on rack
