Mezeskalacs
Hungarian gingerbread cookies
Servings 0
- 300 g strong bakers flour
- 100 g icing sugar
- 100 ml honey
- 100 g unsalted butter
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp BSoda
- 1 heaping tbsp mezeskalacs spices using instant spices, ready to use, easily found at any Hungarian stores – in Hungary 😛 hahaha
Mix everything until it forms a nice dough, chill for 10 minutes
Roll flat and cut with cookie cutters
Place cookies on parchment lined baking pan
Bake on preheated 350 F for 10-12 mins
