Membuat Tempe Sendiri

Ingredients

  • 4.5 kg soybeans
  • 4.5 tsp tempeh yeast
  • 1-2 tbsp vinegar per pot
  • Tons of water

Instructions

  • Soak beans overnight, rinse, discard skins. This is a repetitive step, until all skins gone, you have to rinse beans, discard skin, repeat.
  • Place cleaned beans into pot, fill up enough water to cover it, add in vinegar bring to boil for 1 H
  • Scoop out floating skins during boiling
  • Strain, cool to room temperature
  • Sprinkle with yeast, mix to combine
  • Package, poke holes on the packaging (if its not banana leaves)
  • Ferment for overnight
