Marmalade Walnut Rolls

Ingredients

  • 1 c milk
  • 3 tbsp sugar
  • 20 g fresh yeast 1 heaping tbsp
  • 60 g unsalted butter
  • 2 yolks
  • 1 tsp peanut oil
  • 2 c flour
  • A pinch of salt
  • Marmalade
  • 1 1/2 – 2 c walnut pieces
  • 100 g icing sugar
  • 1 egg beaten

Instructions

  • In a pot, mix milk and sugar, bring to lukewarm, take off from heat and crumble the yeast
  • In a bowl, melt butter in microwave, stir in yolks and peanut oil
  • Into breadmaker machine, pour in yeast mixture, top with flour, followed with melted butter mixture and salt, click dough setting
  • Meanwhile, chop your walnut, then mix it with icing sugar
  • Once dough is ready, roll flat, spread marmalade, about 5 tbsp or so, then top with walnut mixture, roll.
  • Slice into portions and cover. Let rest for 20 mins.
  • Preheat oven to 350 F, brush rolls with beaten egg, and bake for 20-25 mins
