Gingered Turkey and Purple Cabbage

Ingredients

  • 1/2 head of purple cabbage
  • 900 g ground turkey 2 lbs
  • 10 garlic bruised/crushed
  • 1 small thumb of ginger bruised/crushed
  • 1/4 c sunflower oil
  • Ginger powder to taste (at least 1 tsp)
  • Chicken bouillon powder to taste
  • A drop or two fish sauce optional

Instructions

  • Slice thinly cabbage, soak in water
  • Saute garlic and ginger until fragrant, stir in sliced cabbage, cook until half softened
  • Stir in turkey
  • Season with ginger powder, chicken bouillon powder, and a little bit of fish sauce, if using
  • Serve immediately with warm rice
