Csirke Paprikas

Ingredients

  • 1 onion
  • 4 garlic
  • 1 heaping tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 kg chicken thighs with bone and skin
  • 1/2 c water
  • 1 tbsp chicken bouillon powder
  • 2 tbsp sweet paprika powder edes paprika

Instructions

  • Slice garlic and onion
  • Melt butter and saute garlic and onion until soften
  • Stir in chicken pieces, cook for 3 mins, pour in water
  • Cover pan with lid, cook for 5 mins
  • Take off lid, add in bouillon and paprika powder, stir to combine
  • Continue cooking, add a little more water as needed, and/or the flavoring. Cook for 15-20 mins
  • Take off lid, stir, cook for another 15-20 mins, adjusting water if needed, and/or the flavoring.
  • Serve chicken with homemade pasta or macaroni, for the simplest, and top with sout cream, along with cucumber salad (uborka salata)
