Chocolate Apple Triangles

Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 c chocolate milk
  • 3 tbsp sunflower oil
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tbsp active dry yeast
  • 4 c strong baker’s flour
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp BP
  • A pinch of salt
  • 1 egg
  • 2-3 apple peel and grate
  • Softened unsalted butter
  • A little sugar and/or dark brown sugar for sprinkling
  • Mini choc chips for sprinkling

Instructions

  • In a bowl, mix milk, sugar, and oil. Warm mixture in microwave for 3×30 seconds. Wait til lukewarm, then stir in yeast. Let stand for 10 mins.
  • On a separate bowl, mix flour, sugar, salt, and baking powder. Pour in yeast mixture, followed with an egg. Mix and knead.
  • Cover dough and let rest for an H, until doubled in size.
  • Roll flat dough, brush with softened butter, sprinkle with sugars.
  • Spread grated apple and sprinkle with mini choc chips, roll.
  • Slice into triangles and bake for 25-30 mins on preheated 350 F
  • Take out triangles from oven, quickly brush with butter. Let cool know rack for 5-8 mins, serve and enjoy
