Ingredients

Couscous

  • 1 1/4 c water
  • 2 tbsp vegan margarine/butter
  • 1 c couscous

Chickpeas and Couscous

  • 1/4 of a large purple Onion diced
  • 6 baby carrots diced
  • 1 garlic sliced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp nutritional yeast
  • Magi seasoning liquid to taste
  • 4 tbsp canned peas
  • 5 - 6 tbsp rinsed canned chickpeas

Instructions

How To Cook Couscous

  • Bring water to boil, stir in margarine
  • Add in couscous, cover and take off from heat.
  • Let stand for 5 mins

Chickpeas and Couscous

  • Heat oil saute onion garlic and carrots until soften
  • Stir in peas chickpeas and cooked couscous
  • Sprinkle yeast, stir well
  • Season with Magi
