Bubur Sumsum

Ingredients

Syrup

  • 3/4 c brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 screwpine leaf tied in knot
  • a pinch of salt
  • 1/3 c water or a little more
  • Boil until sugars are dissolved set aside

Porridge

  • 1 can coconut milk 400 ml
  • 1/3 c rice flour about 80 g
  • 1 screwpine leaf tied in knot
  • 1/2 tsp salt you want your porridge to taste a little salty

Instructions

Syrup

  • Boil until sugars are dissolved, set aside

Porridge

  • Dissolve flour in 3-4 tbsp water, set aside
  • Bring milk, screwpine leaf, salt to boil
  • Pour rice flour mixture, boil til thickened, stirring continuously
  • Serve porridge with the syrup!
