Beef and Cabbage Soup

Ingredients

  • 1/2 head of a cabbage sliced
  • 1/2 of a large fat carrots sliced
  • 1.5 kg beef
  • 1 medium onion sliced
  • 6 garlic sliced
  • 1 heaping tsp oregano
  • 1 heaping tsp smoked paprika powder
  • 1 heaping tsp basil
  • 1 heaping tsp table blend such as Mrs. Dash
  • 4 heaping tbsp chicken bouillon powder
  • 1 tbsp celery salt
  • 1-2 tbsp crushed chives

Instructions

  • Pat dry the beef, trim fat, cubed
  • Brown the beef cubes, by clicking the saute option. Once browned, stir on onion and garlic, cook til softened.
  • Stir in paprika powder, followed with oregano and basil.
  • Add in veggies, pour in water until the max line of the instant pot.
  • Add in flavoring and chives, stir
  • Turn off saute, click on stew (but yes it is for soup, and yes there is an option for soup, but stew option is what you want to use), it will show 1 H, add another 10 mins.
