Stir sugar in lukewarm water, then stir in yeast. Let stand for 5 mins.
In a cup, mix lukewarm water with pandan paste, set aside.
In a bowl, mix dry ingredients, make a well in center, then pour in yeasty water, stir with spatula.
Knead in butter, then pour in pandan water, knead until dough formed nicely.
Cover with cling wrap, rest for 30-60 mins.
Divide dough into 50 g portions. Flatten each and place a chocolate bar in center, seam to seal.
Rest dough buns for 10 mins, then steam buns in preheated steamer, for 10-15 mins.
Enjoy while warm is heaven on earth, but do watch out for melted chocolate, is pretty hot 😊
