Today is sunny, yay. I think we will be taking the kids for a drive, about 30-40 mins out of town, to a new sunflowers field/farm. At last we have one that is (somewhat) nearby, woo-hoo ???? Normally we would drive more than 11 H, to another province, for sunflowers field (I have shared that travel, maybe back in 2017, on Steemit/Hive). Am soooo excited. We love sunflower chasing ????
But for now. While am relaxing, before we leave. Lemme share you a quicky but satisfying dish to make. You can have it for breakfast, lunch, dinner, whenever you feel like. If you are under the weather, for your little toddler and kids, or in my case, for my 10 yo as he needs soft food for the next one week at least ?
Yep. Am sharing congee or rice porridge recipe ????
- 1 c rice
- Water (measurement detailed in the video)
- 150 g frozen chopped spinach
- 2 handful frozen corn kernels
- 1-2 kafir lime leaf
- Screwpine leaf (pandan)
- 1 large thumb ginger
- 2 chicken bouillon cubes
- Vegeta powder to taste

Spinach Rice Porridge (Bubur Nasi)
Ingredients
- 1 c rice
- Water measurement detailed in the video
- 150 g frozen chopped spinach
- 2 handful frozen corn kernels
- 1-2 kafir lime leaf
- Screwpine leaf pandan
- 1 large thumb ginger
- 2 chicken bouillon cubes
- Vegeta powder to taste
Instructions
- Rinse clean rice, and dump rice into rice cooker bowl
- Add in the rest of the ingredients
- Choose porridge option and let the rice cooker does its magic!
