This following soup has got to be the easiest soup I’ve ever made. I found this beans, grains, and pastas mixture in bags at the supermarkets in Gatineau, Quebec, and they are called “grand-mere” soup mixture, which translated to “grandma’s soup”, so in a way or two I guess this is a French-Canadian kind of soup?
It’s pretty easy to make and all the goods from beans, grains, and pastas as one, are just filling, which can be heavy too, I guess?
We served it with hot sauce and egg rolls on the side.
Give this soup a try and see if you like it as well 🙂 If you cannot find the grand-mere soup mix, no fret, just use mixture of your favorite grains, pastas, beans, and soup base powder
