The semolina in Canada is not as fine as the one in Hungary, the texture of the cake is slightly differ to the one that I made while in Hungary. It’s interesting how produce and whatnot, are different between countries.

150 g of butter
3 eggs
200 g of powdered sugar
lemon juice
280 g of semolina flour
1/2 packet of suto powder
cherry
Add the butter, egg yolk, sugar and grated lemon peel to approx. Mix for 1/2 hour. Beat the egg whites to a stiff foam. Mix the suto powder into the list and gently mix it into the dough together with the foam. Grease the baking tray with butter, flour it and pour the dough into it. Place the cherries that have been washed and dried in a kitchen towel. Fry it in a preheated oven on moderate heat. Leave to cool and slice.

A vajat, a tojassargajat, a cukrot es a reszelt citromhejat kb. 1/2 orat keverjuk. A tojasfeherjebol kemeny habot verunk. A listzbe belekeverjuk a sutoport, es a habbal egyutt konnyeden a tesztaba keverjuk. A tepsit kikenjuk vajjak, meglisztezzuk es beleontjuk a tesztat. Rarakjuk a megmosott es a konyharuhaban leszaritott cseresznyet. Elomelegitett sutoben, mersekelt tuzon megsutjuk. Hulni hagyjuk es felszeleteljuk.
