Hi Guys!
If you’re looking a banana bread recipe that is toast able rather than cake-like banana bread, here is a recipe for you. I mentioned it the other day, and today is sharing time at last 😊
I’ve been using my breadmaker machine these days. Even though it’s been 3 months post surgery, I don’t really wanna roll myself, don’t want to strain muscle much, yet, just in case 😊
This bread is awesome as is, great with butter spread on it, superb toasted, even better with butter spread on it as well after toasting 😊

1 c milk
3 tbsp sugar
2 1/2 tbsp packed fresh yeast cake
3 1/2 c AP flour
1 tsp cinnamon powder
1/2 tsp allspice powder
1 ripe bananas
1 yolk
2 heaping tbsp unsalted butter
Salt, optional only
1/2 c walnut pieces
1/2 c packed raisins
Stir sugar into your milk, heat in microwave until lukewarm, then crumble in yeast cake
In a clean bowl, mix flour and spices, set to side
In another bowl, melt butter for 20-25 seconds in microwave, then mash in banana and yolk
Pour yeast mixture into your breadmaker machine, then dump flour mixture, covering the wet liquid, then add in banana mixture. Choose regular bread setting and set a timer for 8 – 10 minutes, then add in raisins and walnuts, and let the breadmaker does its magic 😊
Takes 2 H and 45 mins on mine, until you get fresh banana sandwich loaf 😍
