I prepare fozelek quite often in the house as it is freaking simple to prepare yet so fulfilling and can be extra delish. Fozelek is a crossed between a soup and a stew. There are many kinds of them in Hungary, from potato, veggies, beans, and seeds.
We can have fozelek anytime, regardless hot sunny day, but more so in Winter 😀
Today’s fozelek is a mixed between veggies and ground beef, because, why not 😛
250 g ground beef, browned
Stir in:
1/2 large onion, diced
4 garlic, thinly sliced
Add in:
1 bag frozen veggies, rinse (300 g)
1 tin corn, drain
Pour in:
1 L broth + enough water
Season with:
2 tbsp each mushroom granules, Vegeta powder
Boil for 20 mins
Meanwhile mix:
2/3 flour + 1 tbsp sweet paprika powder + 150-200 ml water
Pour into pot to thicken soup
Serve immediately is the best 🙂
