Hi There ❤️
I reached 3000 views on YouTube earlier, what a nice surprise, suddenly got a notification for setting up adsense and whatnot…..and then I fd it up 😅 So now it’s suspended 🤣😅🤣😅 Spent a good hour trying to fix things, and I’ve given up. What an amateur, hey.
Anyhoo!
It’s a beautiful day today. 18C and warm. Nice. We laid 2 slabs today for the greenhouse in between work, house chores, and steameming these following sponge cakelettes 😍
We call these steamed sponge cakes as Bolu Kukus. One of my favorite childhood Indonesian cake 😊
2 eggs
1 c sugar
1 tsp Ovalett (cake emulsifier, available online)
1 3/4 c strong baker’s flour
250 ml lukewarm milk
Pandan and mocha paste for flavoring and coloring
Preheat your steamer
Beat eggs, sugar and emulsifier for 7 mins, until fluffy and pale
Beat in flour and milk, alternating one after another
Divide batter into two, stir pandan paste to one, and mocha paste to the other
Scoop batter into individual molds that have been lined with cupcake wrapper (can be alternating color, can be separately, can be marbled, it’s up to you)
Steam for 15 mins, wrap steamer lid with clean towel to avoid water drips
Enjoy ❤️
