I doubled recipe, so I made plenty as shown. Some I filled with homemade black turtle beans paste, red bean paste, and vegan Notella (Nutella)
200 g flour
1 tbsp BP
1 tbsp icing sugar
1 tsp salt (less if with sweet filling)
1 tbsp oil
100 ml almond milk
Mix everything, knead, let rest for 15-20 mins, covered
Divide dough into 7 equal portions (45-50 g each)
Roll flat each and fill with whatever you like
Seam to seal
Brush a pan with a little olive oil and place buns on pan
Cook on medium heat until you hear it’s heating up/crackling sound
Lower heat to low and pour 150 ml water and cook until water evaporated, covered (about 10 mins or so)
Serve immediately or at room temp/slightly warm
