I love this kind of casserole. In Indonesia we have this famous dish called Macaroni Schotel, which almost similar to macaroni and cheese, but baked. Schotel itself is not Indonesian word, but most likely Dutch influenced 🙂
1 – 1 1/2 teaspoon of ground white pepper
1 teaspoon of salt and garlic powder
300 ml milk
10 tablespoons of cream cheese
200 gram French/green beans, cut/slice as desire. wash clean
6 medium potato, peel the skin, wash, make slices or cubes
1 teaspoon of cajun ingredients
salt to taste
1/2 teaspoon of ground coriander
margarine to spread on the baking dish
1 tin of corned beef
20 chicken pok-pok (or more if desire)
4 eggs, beat well
200 gram grated cheese (parmesan and such)
Bring water to boil, simmer until half cooked potato and the green beans, drain, set on the baking dish that already has margarine as layer on it.
Meanwhile, mix the beaten eggs, milk, coriander, pepper, salt, garlic and salt powder, cajun, and corned beef.
Pour half of the the mix ontop of the potato and green beans.
Place chicken pok-pok all over the dish then pour the mix of milk and everything else once again
Spread the grated cheese all over the top
Bake for half hour in 400 F then turn down the heat to 350 F for another half hour or until golden brown.
Serve hot

Ingredients
