Happy Sunday, Everyone,
And Happy Father’s Day 😊
I took my husband and boys out yesterday for celebration, so that today, on the actual Father’s Day, we can all stay in and relaaaax at home 😁
The morning was rather sunny, for an H or two, then it turned to a cloudy day. At least it’s not wet unlike yesterday 😊
I found a new series I have been watching, since last night. 3 Body Problem. It’s a very interesting series. When the series just came out, my husband said he tried to read the book before and it was just too hard to follow. Hearing that, I had been postponing to check it out. Last night, around 9 PMish, I said to him, “Wanna watch it with me? Just 1 episode, it’s only 1 H long”. He said okay and we started watching it, and I am on episode 3 now 😁
But of course, I am here to share a recipe, as always, so shall we 😁
2 c flour
1 tbsp BP
2 tbsp matcha powder
A pinch of salt
1/2 c lilac jelly, that we prepared the other day
2 eggs
1/2 c of milk
6 tbsp vegetable oil (optional)
Lilac jelly
Fresh lilac florets
Mix flour, baking powder, matcha powder and salt in a bowl, set to side
In a food processor, mix jelly, eggs and milk until completely combined
Pour liquid into dry ingredients’ bowl, mix to just combine
Divide into 6 and bake for 15-18 mins on preheated 400 F
Take out muffins of pan, right away brush with jelly (and press a floret on each if you’d like to)
Enjoy!
