Happy Saturday!
It’s super wet here, rain hasn’t stopped since last night, but at least it’s not crazy storm. Just nice continuous raindrops. One of my cats insisted to go out in the rain, right after breakfast. He return an H later, soaked. Poor silly kitty 🤣 Both of my cats are indoor cats, however, one of them has been wondering ground the neighborhood for at close to 2 years now. The other one is a scaredy-cat. Even at the balcony, sound of passing cars terrify him 😁
Seen anything good lately? I got hooked watching Platonic on appleTV. I finished the whole 10 episodes in a day. Not a long episode each though, like only half H. It’s a pretty fun and funny series, starred Seth Rogen and one of my favorite actress, Rose Byrne. I like these two in Neighbors as well. Think they always seem to have good chemistry when paired together 😍
Today’s recipe share is what us Indonesians refer to as Perkedel (other spelling is with G, PerGedel, instead with a K, and sometimes Bergedel instead with P).
Funny story.
Indonesia was once invaded by the Dutch and majority would say Perkedel is from Dutch Frikadelle. HOWEVER, Frikadelle is actually German, while FriKANDEL is Dutch, and Perkedel shape is more to German Frikadelle than Dutch Frikandel. So idk 😁
