Hi Guys!
Our weekends were super windy and chilly. Even this morning, temperature was at -2 C. So kids left for school with toques and gloves on 🤪 However, now, afternoon, the sun is shiny, it is not windy and as am typing this, it is WARM! I was sweating in the car earlier, in fact 😬 Weird weather 🤪
Today’s recipe sharing is sweet but at the same time savory steamed cake. My Mama used to make this cake, sliced them nicely, wrapped them in plastic packaging, to be sold at a supermarket called Hero in East Borneo 😋😋😋😋
4 eggs
100 g sugar
2-3 tbsp melted unsalted butter
150 g enriched bakers flour
1/2 c skim milk powder
1/2 – 1 tsp fine sea salt
100-120 ml water
Leftover cooked beef (can be from taco, smoked deli beef, pot roast, etc – I used leftover shredded BBQ beef for quesadilla, a couple posts down 😉)
