It’s Monday already, time really flies hey 🤪
This morning I have a super quick to make dessert that is great for Christmas morning, lunch, dinner, whenever you like 😁
It is a known bread pudding from Hungary, with poppy seeds as the specialty ingredient, and it is called Makos Guba.
It is not just super quick to make, but it is no bake bread pudding, so it is suuuupppeerr easy 😉
Here are the ingredients!
8 kaiser rolls (a day or two old)
3 c cashew milk (or your milk preference)
1/2 c sugar
2 tsp vanilla essence
1/2 c poppy seeds, grind
1 handful raisins
Makos Guba
Ingredients
- 8 kaiser rolls a day or two old
- 3 c cashew milk or your milk preference
- 1/2 c sugar
- 2 tsp vanilla essence
- 1/2 c poppy seeds grind
- 1 handful raisins
Instructions
- Mix sugar into milk and heat milk into lukewarm, stir in raisins and essence
- Slice rolls and dip into milk, place into a bowl
- Add in poppy seeds, mix
- Serve right away or chilled
