Hi There!
I had a very productive Sunday and am pretty pooped now. I don’t know why I keep doing this. Lazy Saturday, then super busy Sunday. Come Monday, am dead to start on the new week 😅
I moved all my planters to a room, so when we are away, my brother in law would have an easier time in watering all my plants 😁
Did you do anything exciting today?
My husband helped me with the following fresh salads. We prepared 2 fresh salads, from Indonesia and from Hungary. They are so much a like, just different veggies 😁
4 English cucumbers
1/2 bag of baby carrots
2 green bell peppers
1 large purple onion
4 bird eye chilies
4 garlic
Sugar, salt, vinegar, to taste
Enough water
For the Hungarian style. Slice super thinly 2 cucumbers, no need to skin them.
Place cucumbers into a bowl.
Pour enough water, covering the cucumber slices. Season with sugar, salt and vinegar. You want to make a fresh balanced flavor of sweetness and vinegary.
Add in sliced of 2 garlic.
Now for the Indonesian style. Do the same, but add in sliced bell peppers and carrots.
Place in a bowl, add in sliced garlic and onion.
Pour in water and season with sugar, salt and vinegar as well. Then add in bird eye chilies.
Chill salads before serving for best flavor!
