One of the menu for our lunch with Li Yan and Jimmy today 😀 I prepared bihun goreng (fried glass noodle), veggie and chicken stir fry, plus this spicy fried chicken 😀
16-20 pieces chicken thighs
1/2 of medium size onion
4 small red onion (Spanish onion/Asian onion)
13 red bird eye chilies
1 big size tomato
Hungarian Vegeta Seasoning, to taste
sugar to taste
1 tbsp Indonesian sweet soya sauce (kecap manis ABC)
a dash of white pepper powder mix with 1/2 tbsp Hungarian Vegeta seasoning mixed with a little water
Vegetable oil
2 Salam leaves
1-2 dried galangal
Season chicken thighs in white pepper mixture; fry in hot vegetable oil until well done; set aside.
Using your food processor, blend your tomato, onions and chilies.
Heat a tablespoon of vegetable oil, saute your tomato mixture. Add in the rest of the ingredients; stir well.
Add in chicken; simmer for a couple of minutes; serve with warm rice.
Spicy Fried Chicken
