Good Morning!
Last day of fasting ๐ Gonna try to cook rendang (beef curry), sambal goreng ate (beef liver dish), opor ayam (chicken dish). Ah I so can’t wait for tomorrow to come. Always such a feeling to see complete meals, cookies, and whatnot on the dining table ๐๐๐๐
For today’s recipe share, I have a nice butter marble cake to share. So easy to make and using ingredients that most people have in their kitchen ๐
So, what to note. This marble cake is my go to 5 ingredients marble cake recipe. Yep. 5 ingredients only, and you would get a nice cake. However, when I run out things, I make do with what I have, right, now, the result is great as well. So am sharing you the alternatives as well, just in case you have this but not that, vice versa ๐

300 g unsalted butter
200 g dark brown sugar, omit 2 tbsp, and add in 2 tbsp regular white sugar (optional, you can use all dark brown sugar)
6 eggs
200 g flour mixed with 2 tsp BP (or use self raising flour instead, so no need baking powder)
20 g cocoa powder (or 2 tbsp max)
Cream butter and sugars until completely combined, then crack in eggs, one at a time. You want to scrape sides now and then.
Mix in flour mixture until completely combined, then divide batter into 2. Leave one bowl as is, while adding cocoa powder to the other. Batter will be thick.
Grease and flour your mold generously, and preheat your oven to 350 F
Drop batter one heaping tbsp per flavor, alternating one after another, creating a marble effect
Tap mold on flat surface a couple of times, then bake for 50-55 minutes, depending on your oven (I used convection oven, and it was for 45 mins)
Flip cake on a cooling rack, slice and enjoy, when you are ready ๐
