Hi Guys!
So I have this gold necklace of infinity symbol, consists my sons names, right. Well since 2 years ago, after a lab visit, the necklace tangled. Didn’t look too bad, just the symbol normally would fall on the center front of my neck, but after that, it always went to my collar bone instead. Went to the jewelry store, it would start from $199 to detangle it. I said no need. It’s fine. Then a year after, it just totally fell apart. Like what the hell. I’ve only had it like less than 3 years. Meh.
Fast forward to 2 weeks ago, I removed the bad part and turned it into an anklet. But it wasn’t good enough, it slid off my ankle. So I placed it on our furnace mantle, on January 13th.
Yesterday I noticed it wasn’t there anymore 😩
The whole house was looking for it, turning everything upside down. Nada. Most likely one of the cats knocked it down somehow, and our Roomba caught it, and garbage day has come and gone. Is the perfect explanation 💔
Guess, it was never meant for me. But my gosh, gold isn’t cheap 🥴
