Hi Friends!
Yesterday was foggy, misty, but lovely. I dragged my boys to the backyard as I needed fresh air after looong nap 🤣 We had mushroom soup for lunch and somehow we all went to nap after, like the whole house, well 4 of us at least as my oldest didn’t have lunch at the same time as the rest of us. When we went to have lunch, he’d rather nap, then when we napped, he was lonely 🤣 We napped for close to 3 H, that’s why 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Something in that mushroom soup knocked us down, I guess 😅 You ever had mushroom soup and then you felt so sleepy afterwards? That was just so strange 😅😁😅😁 So yeah, much needed fresh air 😁
Here is day 2 of sharing our Christmas cookies. Tomorrow will be the last, as I only baked 3 cookies 😁
1 c unsalted butter
1 c icing sugar
2 c strong baker’s flour
1 pouch vanilla sugar
1 heaping tbsp cocoa powder
Hundreds and thousands (little beads/mini beads/mini sugar pearls)
In a bowl, cream butter and icing sugar
In another bowl, mix flour, vanilla sugar and cocoa powder, then add mixture into creamed butter, a little at a time
Scoop dough and shape into balls/rounds, then roll them into hundreds and thousands, place on cookie sheet, flattened a bit
Bake cookies for 8-10 mins on preheated 350 F
Cook completely before storing
