My mother in law baked hokifli earlier, so good 😀
They are easy to prepare, but required patience as the dough has to chill in the fridge overnight 🙂
400 g strong baker’s flour
250 g unsalted butter
175 ml sour cream
Mix everything into a dough, cover, let rest in the fridge overnight
For filling:
200 g apricot jam
For coating:
enough icing sugar, mixed with 1 envelope of vanilla sugar
The next day, take out the dough from the fridge (it will be hardened). Cut into 4, and start kneading to warm up the dough, to be pliable again. Now you can either roll each, or once softened, you can add them as one again, then roll flat
Cut dough with round cookie cutter
Spoon jam in center, and fold sides into crescent
Bake cookies on preheated 350 F for 8-19 mins
Meanwhile, mix icing sugar with vanilla sugar
Once cookies are done, quickly coat them in sugar mixture
Enjoy!
