Hi Friends!
Just a quicky post while I still remember what my husband added to the food processor when he made this yummy strong sauce, our favorite!
40 garlic, peeled (at least 40, more or less is up to you of how strong you’d want it to be)
2 c canola oil
2 tbsp lemon juice
salt to taste
sour cream as needed
Whenever we miss Shawarma (the ones you can get from Ottawa or Montreal), we would make Toum ourselves and it’s so easy peasy, just turn everything into fine cream in your food processor, minus the sour cream!
Once you want to use the Toum, spoon some into a bowl, mix with enough sour cream, and it’s ready 😀
