Hi Friends,
How’s your Sunday going? My Saturday was meh. One of my cats been missing since Friday evening 😢
Last year, this same cat was dying, we thought. The vet told us it was either surgery to find out what was happening but it wouldn’t guarantee that it would fix the problem, or to put him down for good.
Furball, is his name. All he wanted during his sick days, was to be freed outside in the backyard. He was a 100% indoor cat before. He was really begging us to let him out. So we put an airtag on him (that kept being stolen, and yes, stolen, as we would knock on some houses where they were “gone” to, sometimes with success, some other time not so much). In the end he didn’t have an airtag anymore. We actually needed that to track him just in case he decided to cross the rainbow, further from the house. So we could get him and burry him. That was the plan. But airtag isn’t cheap and losing too often wasn’t fun.
Anyhoo. He gotten better later. So he became indoor-outdoor cat.
He NEVER not home (except the couple of days he was totally dying. He went to a stranger’s house, very far from ours, and just laid under their deck, super weak. Thank goodness for airtag. We tracked him. We could always visit him. 2 days he didnt wanna come out of the deck. Then he returned home himself on the 3rd day). By 6.30 – 7.30PM he would be home with my call. However, since Friday night, he hasn’t returned 🙁
We’ve looked and called around. No signs 🙁
I hope no cars, no fox, no moose hurt him. I hope someone found him to be cute and decided to keep him, feed him, love him. YEP, I just want the 2nd scenario, if so. I miss him badly tho 🫤 I so wish he would find his way home to us, fingers crossed. Moreover, Furball has a brother, Charley. We adopted them together. Charley’s been meowing a lot, looking for him all over the house. Today we will be putting up posters. Here is hoping for the best!
Wow. What a long vlog opener, hey.
