Happy Sunday, Everyone,
And Happy Father’s Day
I took my husband and boys out yesterday for celebration, so that today, on the actual Father’s Day, we can all stay in and relaaaax at home
The morning was rather sunny, for an H or two, then it turned to a cloudy day. At least it’s not wet unlike yesterday
I found a new series I have been watching, since last night. 3 Body Problem. It’s a very interesting series. When the series just came out, my husband said he tried to read the book before and it was just too hard to follow. Hearing that, I had been postponing to check it out. Last night, around 9 PMish, I said to him, “Wanna watch it with me? Just 1 episode, it’s only 1 H long”. He said okay and we started watching it, and I am on episode 3 now
But of course, I am here to share a recipe, as always, so shall we
2 c flour
1 tbsp BP
2 tbsp matcha powder
A pinch of salt
1/2 c lilac jelly, that we prepared the other day
2 eggs
1/2 c of milk
6 tbsp vegetable oil (optional)
Lilac jelly
Fresh lilac florets
Mix flour, baking powder, matcha powder and salt in a bowl, set to side
In a food processor, mix jelly, eggs and milk until completely combined
Pour liquid into dry ingredients’ bowl, mix to just combine
Divide into 6 and bake for 15-18 mins on preheated 400 F
Take out muffins of pan, right away brush with jelly (and press a floret on each if you’d like to)
Enjoy!
