I watched M3GAN the other night, and thought, if AI and robots can be that scary, society will be doomed for sure, but then again, my robot vacuum cleaner always seems to do the same spot over and over again, and still not clean enough, I think we should be good? 🤣🤣🤣🤣 What do you reckon? I think I’d rather have superpower than AI, though. I’d like to be invisible, to fly, to have supersonic hearing and speed, to be able to read mind, to teleport, bulletproof etc etc etc 😁 And Oh! Live in a super awesome tree house, way up high, surrounded by clouds. That would be cool. I think 😁 A tree house with solar power as I need electricity still, to be able to use my air fryer, for the following dish 😉
In Indonesia, we would deep fry this precooked chicken. That is convenient to do for street food vendors and restaurants. Even for households esp. when there are chicken on sale, and you’d like to save up some time in kitchen for throughout the week, you’d just precooked the chicken, and fry them when needed, and would lessen the cooking time.
Obv. we’d flavored the chicken as well, not just precooking it. Yep, tasty and convenient 😉
1 lemongrass
2 salam leaves (Indonesian bay leaves)
2 tsp chicken bouillon powder (add more if needed, up to 1 tbsp)
1 med onion
5 garlic
5 candlenut
1 thumb ginger
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
1/4 tsp galangal powder
1/2 tsp ground coriander
1/4 tsp white pepper powder
450 ml water
1.7 kg chicken pieces
Place lemongrass, salam leaves, anc bouillon powder into a pot
In a blender, turn garlic, onion, candlenut into fine paste, pour into the pot
Add in spice powders as well
Pour water, stir to combine
Stir in chicken to coat evenly
Cook in low heat until chicken cooked through
Store in fridge until ready to fry (leftover spices in the pot can be used to marinade tofu or tempeh, btw)
Fry chicken in air fryer at 400 F for 18-20 mins, until golden brown and crispy
