With this kind of cooking, my 2 littles always finish their plates 😀 Easy to make, easy to prepare, no hassle in flavoring. Warm rice and this stir fry, dinner at home makes this momma happy 😀
I used dark chili powder as one of the ingredients. It makes food flavored almost like Taco.
600 g ground beef
1/2 of a large onion
4 garlic
1/4 c sunflower oil
1/4 c water
Magi liquid seasoning, to taste
4 heaping tsp mushrooms granules
1-2 tsp vegetable rice seasoning, to taste
1 heaping tsp sweet paprika powder
1-2 tsp dark chili powder (this isn’t spicy at all, I got it from Winners)
For vegetables, you can use anything you like, but I used frozen mixed vegetables, about half bag. It consist corn kernels, carrots, and green beans. I also added a bag of bean sprouts. Just easy peasy veggies, as my youngest, is a bit picky when it comes to veggies.
In a food processor, process onion, garlic, oil and water. Dump paste into a nonstick pan, heat up until fragrant, then stir in ground beef, cook until browning, on high heat. This is so the water will be evaporated, instead dumping juice out – less messier 😛
Stir in frozen veggies, cook for 5 minutes, then season (I seem to forget to add ground white pepper above, so yeah about 1/4-1/2 tsp, depending your kids tolerance :)). Adjust to your liking. Cook for another 2 mins
Stir in bean sprouts. Set heat to low and cover with lid. Cook for another 5-8 minutes
Serve immediately with warm rice!
