Hi Guys!
It is so windy today and freaking cold. So-not-fun. Cables moving like crazy everywhere, cars slipping as snow drifting and making vision and road bad, power flickers now and then, it’s a crazy Monday. To top that, I fell on hard ice while shoveling the driveway this morning ???? Yep, freezing rain mixed with drifting snow, so awesome. Luckily I only worked for 4 H today. Phew. I am in the comfort of my bedroom atm, altho soon I have to go and get the boys from school.

Here are the ingredients for today’s recipe!
2 large bitter gourds
1 bag large shrimps, 300 g
1 bag tempeh
1 tbsp unsalted butter
1/4 c diced onion
6 bird eye chilies
1 handful fried garlic, ready to use
Soy sauce, to taste
Liquid smoke, to taste
Stargazer hot sauce, to taste
Vegeta powder, to taste
1/4 c water
Chives, 1 tbsp
A generous pinch of onion and garlic powder

Oseng-Oseng Pare
Ingredients
- 2 large bittergourds
- 1 bag large shrimps 300 g
- 1 bag tempeh
- 1 tbsp unsalted butter
- 1/4 c diced onion
- 6 bird eye chilies
- 1 handful fried garlic ready to use
- Soy sauce to taste
- Liquid smoke to taste
- Stargazer hot sauce to taste
- Vegeta powder to taste
- 1/4 c water
- Chives 1 tbsp
- A generous pinch of onion and garlic powder
Instructions
- Thinly slice bitter gourds, paper thin slices, quickly rinsed
- Cube tempeh
- Quickly rinse shrimps
- Saute onion and chilies in butter
- Add in bitter gourds and shrimps
- Cook until shrimps changing color
- Stir in fried garlic
- Season with liquid smoke, soy sauce, hot sauce, Vegeta powder
- Pour in water, chives and onion plus garlic powder
- Serve immediately with warm rice
