Today’s recipe is yummo. We love serving this dish with warm rice. You can use boneless chicken if you’d like, btw.
1.5 kg chicken pieces
1/2 c unsalted butter
1/2 c diced/chopped/sliced onions
1/2 tbsp minced garlic, store bought
1 tsp minced ginger, store bought
Sriracha sauce, sesame oil, oyster sauce, concentrated chicken liquid, to taste
1-2 tbsp hoisin sauce
1-2 tbsp sweet soy sauce (kecap manis)
1/3 c water
1 tbsp crushed parsley
Roasted sesame seeds
Teriyaki sauce, to taste – optional

Ingredients
- 1.5 kg chicken pieces
- 1/2 c unsalted butter
- 1/2 c diced/chopped/sliced onions
- 1/2 tbsp minced garlic store bought
- 1 tsp minced ginger store bought
- Sriracha sauce sesame oil, oyster sauce, concentrated chicken liquid, to taste
- 1-2 tbsp hoisin sauce
- 1-2 tbsp sweet soy sauce kecap manis
- 1/3 c water
- 1 tbsp crushed parsley
- Roasted sesame seeds
- Teriyaki sauce to taste – optional
Instructions
- On nonstick pan, place butter and chicken, fry chicken until browning, on medium-low heat, stirring often
- Stir in onion, garlic, and ginger
- Season chicken with a little sriracha, sesame oil, oyster sauce, and chicken liquid, stir to combine
- Then stir in hoisin sauce, sweet soy sauce, then pour in water
- Adjust the flavoring to your liking
- Stir in parsley, then sprinkle with sesame seeds
- Serve with warm rice
