I have a roll cake, jam roll, or Swiss Roll recipe to share today. In Indonesia we call this roll as as sponge cake roll (bolu gulung, sponge cake = bolu, roll = gulung)
It is filled with jam, hence jam roll, but you can fill it whatever you like, from buttercream, whipped cream, ganache, etc
3 eggs
45 g sugar (1/4 c)
35 g strong bakers flour (or all purpose) – 1/4 c
2 tbsp skim milk powder
1 tbsp cornstarch
65 g unsalted butter, melt
1/2 tbsp cake emulsifier (SP)
1 heaping tsp Mexican vanilla
Jam of your choice

Ingredients

- 2 tbsp skim milk powder
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 65 g unsalted butter melt
- 1/2 tbsp cake emulsifier SP
- 1 heaping tsp Mexican vanilla
- Jam of your choice
