Hi Friends!
I have a simple but delicious dish to share today and it is Indonesian. This dish is known as semur. It is both of my boys favorite. They like it when their rice is flavored with the gravy, so I always make more gravy than what semur normally would have.
Semur is always brown in color as the main ingredient to flavor it is sweet soy sauce (sweet thick soy sauce). It is available online, Chinatown, or at most (big chair) grocery stores throughout Canada.
If you can find Indonesian brand (ABC), the better, but if not, there is always Dutch brand that I can always find at the stores, Conimex.
