Today is Day 20, wowzer, almost Eid, how exciting ????
I have Tabouli recipe to share! I know, I know, it is not Indonesian, but it’s prepared by an Indonesian, so that counts ?✌?✌
Simple to make, refreshing for a hot day, and you can serve it with whatever you like, even with rice, mostly with pitas bread, or as is ?
Aaaannnnnddd….if you have the time to check on the video, I prepared two kinds of them! ????
Here are the ingredients!
- Curly parsley (1/2 of a bunch), as needed
- Mint leaves (5-7), as needed
- 4 green onion
- 1 tomato
- 1/4 c packed, cooked bulgur
- 1/8 c lemon juice
- 1/8 c olive oil
- Himalaya salt, to taste
- Cracked black pepper, to taste

Tabouli
Ingredients

- 1/4 c packed cooked burghul
- 1/8 c lemon juice
- 1/8 c olive oil
- Himalaya salt to taste
- Cracked black pepper to taste

Instructions
- chop/slice veggies and place in a bowl
- soften bulgur in hot boiling water 2 mins (you can microwave it as well)
- mix softened bulgur with veggies
- mix juice and oil, pour into veggies
- season with salt and pepper
